Core and optional capabilities

A master-data change in Odoo is not a promise of an immediate update in QF. The exchange starts when QF requests it.

Protect portal commercial content

With the workspace installed, administrators can use Protect QF Portal Commercial Content under Sales → Settings → QuotationFactory. The setting is enabled per company by default. It protects portal-origin commercial content on draft and sent quotations from ordinary user edits. Shipping and work-preparation information remain editable, and normal quotation confirmation remains available.

Agree price and unit handling

For article master-data exchange, the price source is configurable: supplier price with cost fallback, or cost. Confirm the intended source before comparing a price in QF with Odoo. Sheet prices and tiers held per square metre in Odoo can be converted to per-sheet values for QF using explicit sheet dimensions. This conversion does not rewrite the Odoo master data.
